Pre-season 2012 - Men's

New to the club

If you are new to the club use the following criteria to determine which training session to attend first.

If you have played for a club football team before (at Senior or Reserves) level please attend the Reserves training. The Reserves coaches will assess you and advise you on which future training sessions to attend. The Reserves squads are known as training squad 4 (Provisional 3 NW reserves) and training squad 3 (State 3 NW reserves).

If you have played at Thirds level or if you haven't played for a club football team before Thirds training is the best place to start. The coaches there will send you to the Reserves training if required.

We are able to promote players between squads during the season, so you will end up playing in the highest possible squad.

The State 3 and Provisional 3 Senior and Reserve teams play on Saturday.

The Thirds teams play on Sundays.

All training times and changes will be posted to our musc-announce mailing list, follow the instructions here to sign up. We strongly suggest signing up to this mailing list.

Seniors & Reserves

Pre-season begins Thursday 12 January 2012 at the University of Melbourne Hockey Pitch, Parkville.

Thirds

Pre-season begins Wednesday 25 January 2012.

Training will split into two groups (A and B) as of 4 March 2012.

Wednesdays
Location: JJ Holland Park
Times:
 18:30-20:30 (Group B);
 20:00-22:00 (Group A)
 Boots okay

Sundays
Group A:
 Location: University of Melbourne Hockey Pitch (behind MU Sport)
 Time: 12:00-14:00
 Boots: NO BOOTS SNEAKERS ONLY

Group B:
 Location: University High School
 Time: 11:00-13:00
 Boots: NO BOOTS SNEAKERS ONLY

If you have not been allocated to a Group, or you are unsure where to attend, you should join Group B and let the coaches know. The coaches will then allocate individuals to Group A or B.
