Help Keep Princes Park Clean

  • Plogging

We are teaming up with Active Melbourne to help keep Princes Park clean & tidy!

This Sunday pop down to Princes Park where we will be having lots of fun collecting rubbish whilst walking and jogging in the great outdoors.

To celebrate National Sustainable Living Festival, come along for a jog or a walk and be part of the solution this February.

Do you love jogging? Do you hate pollution? If so, plogging is for you! City of Melbourne will be hosting four free plogging events throughout February, celebrating the National Sustainable Living Festival.

Join us in a new global movement that brings together fitness and saving the environment. Originating in Sweden, plogging combines jogging with picking up rubbish for a zero waste world.

Sessions will be held around the city and will help to prevent plastic and other litter from reaching Port Phillip Bay. Come and be a part of this energetic environmental movement, meet like-minded people, raise awareness in your neighbourhood and help do your bit for the planet! Light refreshments and freebies will be provided to those that RSVP.

Any MUSC members that attend will get a free club cap. To get your Free Cap meet at the Southern Pavilion at 9.45am, otherwise meet at Ikon Park at 10.
