FV’s B&F Votes & Top Goal Scorers 2024
A number of Melbourne University Soccer Club’s members were recognised in Football Victoria’s Best & Fairest votes for the 2024 Victorian Premier League, Women’s State League and Men’s State League competitions.
The Best & Fairest votes are accumulated over the course of the season, with assigned match officials submitting 3-2-1 nominations at the completion of each competition fixture. Three votes are given to the player deemed to have been the best and fairest in that fixture.
A huge congratulations to Carlo Di Gregorio for winning the overall Best & Fairest for Men’s State League 5 North. Carlo was also voted by his teammates for the MSL5 Seniors’ Best & Fairest award, and the Players’ Player award. In addition to his on-field contributions, Carlo is the captain of the Men’s State League 5 squad, and a valued club volunteer and member of the Board. Congratulations Carlo!
A number of other MUSC players were rated highly in their respective competitions. Of the approximate 230 players who competed in the VPL, MSL and WSL for MUSC, 99 players received one or more votes! Our Women’s State League 2 team accumulated the most votes with 71 total, and Men’s State League 5 is the most represented with 15 individual entries, closely followed by Women’s State League 3 North with 14.
