Sunday Men’s Teams Coaches

We are always on the lookout for coaches for our men’s Sunday league teams. No prior coaching is experience required but a passion for football and good people skills are necessary! We receive very positive feedback regarding this role, the consensus being this is a cruisy and satisfying job.

Responsibilities include squad selection, running weekly training sessions (Wednesday/Thursday nights) and match days (Sunday morning/afternoons), and a little bit of general club admin.

You can choose to have an assistant, a co-coach, and/or a supporting leadership group. You are free to delegate tasks as you please to make your job as easy as it can be.

All competitive sports teams aim to succeed, but in addition to this our Sunday league teams strive to uphold a positive club culture and seek to have as much fun off the pitch as they do on it, whether this be with after game bevs in the clubhouse, or going for a pub meal together instead of training if it’s 5 degrees and pouring with rain.
